Fred Perpall, FAIA

CEO, The Beck Group


As CEO of The Beck Group, Fred Perpall leads the firm’s domestic and international design, planning, real estate consultancy, and construction businesses.

An active member of his community, Fred is on the board of directors of Starwood Property Trust, Dallas Medical Resource, and Triumph Bancorp. He is on the Board of Councilors for The Carter Center. Fred is also a member of the United States Golf Association Executive Committee and serves as the Championship Committee’s co-chair. A member of the Dallas Citizens Council, Fred served as Chairman of the organization from 2019-2020.

Fred began his career in design and construction in 1996. He has been a registered architect since 2003 and, in 2016, was elected to the prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA) College of Fellows. Fred earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is an alumnus of the 183rd class of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program and is a former Americas Fellow at The Baker Institute at Rice University.

A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Fred played on the 1994 Bahamian National Basketball Team. He and his wife, Abi, live in Dallas with their daughters, Ava and Ali.
